The company must agree on a trial period, which must be reflected in writing in the contract.
The duration of the probationary period is specified in the collective agreements, unless the agreement stipulates other terms, its duration may not exceed:
- Six months for qualified technicians.
- Two months for other workers (except in companies with fewer than 25 workers, which may be three months).
The trial period for contracts due to production circumstances, the duration of which does not exceed six months, may not exceed one month, unless the applicable collective bargaining agreement provides otherwise.
