When you train someone you are creating an asset for your business
- You are teaching someone about the specific needs of your business,
- You train them to handle things “your way”
- In time, a well qualified trainee may become a permanent member of your team.
In harmony with the Royal Decree Law 03/2012, of 10 February, employers can play a fundamental role in training people into new skills that can lead to professional qualifications.
The above-mentioned law makes provision of a special type of contract : “contract for training and learning”.
This provides the right setting for a mentor to train the learner.
The employer avails the learner with officially approved courses that are designed for distant learning. The cost of these are later refunded by Social Security.
Additionally, the company allows the trainee 25% of their working time for specific training and e-learning in the first year, and 15% during the second and third year.
In turn, the employer is incentivized with reductions in the Social Security contributions, even 100%.

Train at no cost*
*Pay 215€/month initially and get it refunded by the Social Security at the end of each month
Find below a list of approved occupations for training. At this stage, we cannot provide support for all of them in English. However it is still possible to benefit for the special conditions of the “training contract” without e-learning. In any case, courses can be provided in Spanish.
